As Founder and Chairman, Sal brings extensive experience in home building and field management to every project. He holds a business degree with a minor in education from the University of Florida and completed Marine Corps Officer Candidate School, developing the leadership foundation that guides his approach today.

During his tenure with a large national homebuilder, Sal managed and completed over 400 homes, never closing a community with an open issue. This comprehensive experience—from estimating and budgeting to final walkthrough and closing—gave him deep insights into what separates good subcontractors from great ones. He witnessed firsthand how inadequate management, weak processes, and insufficient supervision led to costly construction defects, particularly when repairs occurred in occupied homes.

This experience revealed an important truth that became the cornerstone of Sal’s business philosophy: relationships are everything in the construction industry. The most successful projects emerge when builders truly understand their subcontractors’ needs, set them up for success, and demonstrate respect for the complexity of their work. Sal recognized that sustainable success comes from making others’ jobs easier—whether customers, workers, inspectors, suppliers, or team members.
